PARTNERS FOR STENNIS MEETING FEATURES UPDATE FROM NASA STENNIS DIRECTOR JOHN BAILEY AT NEW PRCC AEROSPACE ACADEMY
Partners for Stennis & Michoud will host the semi-annual meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Pearl River Community College (PRCC) Aviation and Aerospace Workforce Academy, located at 14134 Fred and Al Key Road, Kiln.
The meeting will feature several key speakers, including John Bailey, Director of NASA’s Stennis Space Center, who will introduce the center’s new Deputy Director, Christina Powell. Also speaking will be Blaine LaFontaine, Executive Director and CEO of the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission; Dr. Adam Breerwood, President of PRCC; and Dr. Raymunda Barnes, Vice President of PRCC’s Hancock County Campus.
Member updates will be provided by Michael McDaniel, General Manager of Stennis at Aerojet Rocketdyne/L3Harris; Michael J. Bosley, President of Goldbelt Integrated Logistics Services, LLC; and Bob Cesaro, Director of Lockheed Martin Space.
The PRCC Aviation and Aerospace Workforce Academy is a state-of-the-art facility aimed at addressing the growing needs of the aerospace and aviation industries along the Gulf Coast. By providing specialized workforce training, the academy plays a vital role in preparing local students for high-demand careers in aerospace, helping to secure the region’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and space exploration.
